Perfect BordersMeasure through the middle of the quilt from top to bottom, cut side borders at that measurement.Attach side borders, press, then measure through the middle of the quilt from side to side.This will give you the measurement for the top and bottom borders.

Quilt TopPlease make sure your quilt top is pressed flat and squared up. All seams should be secured and all loose threads trimmed. Wait to add embellishments until after the quilting is completed. Please indicate the top of the quilt with a safety pin.

Quilt BackingThe backing and batting should be at least 6” longer and wider than the quilt top. Please make sure the backing fabric is pre-washed if you pre-washed the fabric in the quilt top. |
